The journalist Borja Terán and the actor David Mora will accompany Oriola Pérez Toledo and Edgar Córcoles in an emotional act that pays tribute to one of the most outstanding figures in the world of Spanish short films today.

Skyline Benidorm Film Festival pays homage to a 23-year career in which breaking down barriers on disability and diversity have been key axes in Roberto’s filmography, encouraging other creators and promoting a social dialogue that has gone beyond the screens .

A filmography that has also broken down barriers in formats, making use of practically all audiovisual windows so that the messages of his work reach the maximum possible number of viewers.

Director, producer and screenwriter of Spanish cinema, since he made his debut in 1999 with the short film “The Sea Inside” he has participated as director, producer and screenwriter in more than forty short films and five feature films; the last of them, “Places to which we have never gone” will be premiered this year at the 25th edition of the Malaga Film Festival.

As a director and screenwriter, he has masterfully investigated feelings, our contradictions, expectations, prejudices and illusions. His legacy is inspiring to better understand society in a more representative, more real, more diverse way and even to understand ourselves better”. (Boja Terán, journalist).
