Skyline Benidorm Film Festival turns ten, and we’re celebrating by opening the call for entries to take part in our next edition, which will take place from April 18th to 25th, 2026.
If you have a short film and want to be part of such a special edition, you can now submit it through Festhome, Movibeta or FilmFreeway until December 20th, 2025.
In 2026, we’ll celebrate a decade of cinema, talent and encounters.
Ten years of stories told in short format, of diverse perspectives and of a community that has made it possible for Skyline to become a benchmark festival, recognized by the Spanish Film Academy as a qualifying event for the Goya Awards.
We want this edition to be a shared celebration with all of you who have been there: filmmakers, audiences, collaborators and everyone who believes in cinema as a cultural driving force.
Skyline Benidorm Film Festival remains committed to auteur cinema, equality, sustainability and the professionalization of the industry.
The official sections —National (Goya), International, Ibero-American and Young Filmmakers— will bring together the best of contemporary short films, with over a dozen awards and a €200 selection fee for the works chosen in the National Section.
For eight days, Benidorm will once again be filled with cinema through screenings, talks, professional meetings and the PRISMA industry days, where creators, producers and platforms share ideas and projects.
