The Alicante Provincial Council grants Skyline Benidorm Film Festival financial support within the framework of the “Call for grants to Foundations and other non-profit organizations for the realization of cultural activities 2024”. This support allows the festival to continue consolidating itself as one of the leading events in the short film sector in Spain and to maintain its outstanding work in promoting film culture.
Throughout its eight editions, Skyline Benidorm Film Festival has experienced constant growth, both in terms of participation and recognition within the audiovisual sector. What started as a local initiative has now become an essential platform for short film professionals. Each year, the festival receives a large number of submissions from both emerging and established filmmakers, and the attending audience has shown growing enthusiasm year after year, attracted not only by the variety and quality of the competing short films but also by the wide range of parallel activities the festival organizes.
Thanks to these kinds of grants, Skyline has been able to carry out workshops, roundtables, meetings with filmmakers, and special screenings, enriching the experience for both professionals and film enthusiasts.
