Skyline Benidorm Film Festival, a beneficiary of aid from the Provincial Council of Alicante aimed at the development of cultural activities. The 7th Skyline Benidorm Film Festival, organized by the Skyline Festival Association, has been granted a subsidy by the Provincial Council of Alicante as part of the Grants Call for Foundations and other Non-Profit Entities in the Province of Alicante for the realization of Cultural Activities 2023.
Skyline Benidorm Film Festival was established in 2017 with the goal of professionalizing and highlighting the importance of the short film industry, as well as showcasing the work of professionals in the audiovisual industry in Spain.
Throughout the week from March 25th to April 1st, 2023, during which the festival took place, various activities related to the world of cinema were also carried out. On one hand, there were screenings of short films competing in the Official Competition Section, and on the other hand, parallel proposals on cinema were organized: workshops, concerts, thematic cycles, screening of invited films, etc.
Additionally, the opening and closing galas of the event stand out, during which honorary awards are presented to film professionals.
