A consolidating edition
The 10th edition of Skyline gathered over 750 short film submissions and delivered a programme that combines screenings, industry activities and parallel events, reinforcing its role as a Goya Awards qualifying festival.
The festival also strengthened its international dimension with Mexico as Guest Country and reinforced its commitment to accessibility and audience development.
Assessment: “full houses defined this edition”
Festival director Beatriz Hernández highlighted the strong audience response:
“This has been a very special edition. We’ve had full houses almost every day, with audiences truly engaged with the films and the festival”.
She also underlined the current stage of the festival:
“Skyline has reached a very clear point of maturity. We’ve grown in programming, industry and international projection”.
And looked ahead:
“We’ve just closed this edition and we’re already thinking about what’s to come in the 11th edition”.
With ten years of history, Skyline Benidorm Film Festival reinforces its position as one of Spain’s key short film festivals, with a model that combines cinema, industry and the development of new projects.
