Blind Spot

2024 Cristian Beteta

Estela and Ramón have gone through a separation and the suicide of their only son, Hugo, at just 13 years old, after being bullied at school. When Estela obtains a video recorded by her son’s aggressors, she believes it is time to have a conversation with Ramón. As they uncover the reality of what happened to Hugo, they will try to determine whether they could have prevented it and if they lived up to their roles as parents.

The rent may be cheap, but living there is costing them dearly…

Her father’s abuse since childhood has made her a troubled, irritable girl who has built a tough shell, even with her younger sister, ALMA, an 8-year-old with whom she shares a relationship full of hostility. Due to a misunderstanding, JESSICA is forced to take her sister along to collect food from Cáritas on the day of San Juan. Through this journey with ALMA, JESSICA realizes that she doesn’t want to become like her father and begins to treat her little sister with love instead of violence.

Puzzleak: The Palace of Rape

A young woman spirals into an abyss upon discovering that intimate photos of her—ones she had no knowledge of—are circulating online. The images are deeply traumatic for her. With no choice but to confront the ordeal, she begins investigating the well-known and protected photographer from San Sebastián who first captured these images and later spread them.
