Diane Malherbe

Curious and adventurous by nature, Diane loves a challenge. After studying film in France and gaining extensive international experience through numerous film festivals around the world (France, Spain, Belgium, Mexico, Chile, Croatia, Poland…), she combines the general coordination and programming of film events, including festivals and awards.She also works on film shoots as an assistant director, in production or as an acting coach, when she is not directing her own projects. This wide range of experience led her to co-found Kinoctambule, an international laboratory for the creation of short films and soundtracks in France.She is a member of several selection committees for international festivals, including Clermont-Ferrand, Soria, Alcine and the Anima Festival in Brussels.She also translates numerous short and feature film scripts from Spanish into French.She has served on juries at international film festivals in the feature film, short film and pitching categories in Bulgaria, Spain, France, Italy, Poland, the Dominican Republic and Uruguay (2003–2021).
