Synopsis
THE LAST SONG is the intimate portrait of Rosario, a 67-year-old woman who in her youth had fame and filled stages and radios with her voice. Today she lives immersed in a silent routine, in a present that pushes her towards the margins: age, memory and collective oblivion have made her almost invisible. Everything changes when she sees herself on a television program dedicated to former singers. That image—distant reflection of what she was—awakens in her a pulse she thought was extinct. Rosario rescues her old outfits, and decides to go down to the subway to sing, not as a return, but as an act of resistance against time.
